Isn't the white section between the rear window and the shroud too big?

:iagree:

Certainly not original. I had one with my BN4 back in '73 and it certainly was not like that one. Looks like the new ones that Rawles are selling across the pond in the UK and are about that price give or take for the exchange rate.

:cheers:

Bob;
wondering if it is worth investigating the tops sold by scparts.
They are a bit pricy, but I know nothing about the company.
Have you or friends ever done business with them?

Yes I have done business with that company, being a 1 hours drive away, and will continue to do so. I prefer to visit them rather than order over the phone/e-mail and get things posted. I'll pm you

Just looked up Rawles site

https://www.rawlesmotorsport.tsohost.co.uk/shop/acatalog/info_77.html

This hard top is cheaper than SC Parts and probably will look the same,( it also looks like the one that you have seen in the states) there are no rear struts at the windows. SC parts offer a used top, not sure if that would be an original, and whether they have one is another matter, but you can enquire, and I would guess comes with an even heftier price tag if it is an original.

By the way, the Rawles car is my old rusted 100/6 that has been restored into a lovely racer, last heard of on the forcourt of Dennis Welch for around ÂŁ65,000 :cryin:

Thanks for the Rawles site. Top looks good.
Nice healey also. At $104,700 plus, that's
quite a price.... ouch!

I had one of those on my car for a while (compare with the Ebay listing above).

Mine was a fiberglass shell only with NO internal or edge bracing and was VERY "flimsy".

I sold it for $200 when I bought a REAL Healey hardtop a couple of years ago.
