ebay-1973 MG MIDGET CONVERTIBLE

that's convenient too - /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

But he could have at least turned a hose on it. It looks like it is at his house.

probably knows little about it and will probably take $800 if you stop by.. ; )
mine looked similar till i started clean up..(its still dirty}
heck, id get dirtier than that if i sat here for 5 yrs! ha

How far is this from you Tony, or does it not seem worth it because of his starting price? Tough to find a rustfree RWA body these days. Mine is a 72 and rusty.

Are you going to look at it? If so I'd love to see more pictures.

He's about 8 hours from me way down by Moultrie, GA....$1000, IMHO, is a bit high for what the photos show me...&, there's lots of rust in that body!

...plus, he hasn't answered my questions about that body yet either!

I paid $700 for mine not even barely knowing what I was looking at. Sometimes a leap of faith (or just dumb luck) will lead to good things! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

$600 and a PS2 here kenny! hey it looks like BWillis doesnt have a LBC yet....is this true? or just not tellin?..

Im in the middle of a Bugeye restoration. I'm wanting something to drive while I finish up.

Right now Im stuck in body work land. Taking my time working out oil cans in the rear deck. Sprayed epoxy primer on the bonnet today. Tomorrow it gets 2K.. It never ends.

I've some AH hubcaps but they might need cleaning up

Bugeye's looking great. One of my favorite cars. Looks like your starting the downhill run now. Good luck on it!

Ben - that's a different twist...would you just drive it as it is & then flip it in a year or os?

I think I have an extra hand brake, PM me and I will check tomorrow.

may times its cheaper to put the car under parts car on ebay,

I think they hit you for $40 to list it in the car section. and another $40 if it sells,

not bad if its a $5000-$10,000 car, then its cheaper to pay the $40+$40

but if its a cheap car that $40+$40 eats up a big chunk of the price !

As long as its drivable then thats what I would do for a year or so until I finished the bugeye. Then later on I would do the same thing to it as long as I didnt find aother Bugeye in need of some love /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The squirrel nest on the floor that was presumeably in the car is a real moisture trap. The surface rust on the steering wheels spokes etc hints at more rust elsewhere. Why are the hood and the trunk sprung??? Why cant he get photos of the rust-prone areas???
Too many questions for me.
