this car is in georgia and appears to be miscatagorized as its in the parts section....no bids, starts at $1000,
lousy pics, but could be a pile of treasure if anyones down that way...it looks like my 74!...zimmy
ebay midget

I can't hardly tell anything about its condition. other than its sitting in a hay barn, and there are large pieces of the dash missing may be parts car material, looks like its been sitting outside for years, with all the dust caked on the glass.

Looks about the same condition my B was in when I got it. Put new fuel pump in, fix the brake/clutch hydraulics and drive it!

I liked the Q & A better than the car:

A: Yes you are absolutely correct sometimes they don't understand restoration is a past time hobby.

might be suprised what you might find under all that dirt....eh kenny? the more i clean the grit out of mine the better i feel about the purchase....mine will be at about $1200 by the time shes movin on her on.....much better than drivin a $1500 honda or sumthin ; )

Danged straight!

Looks like it has round rear arches in the ad pictures.

'73-'74 for RWA

Oops, you're right, Jeff - they started late in '72, I think...&, how many did they make? I've been told it was 10,000 but don't know

...problem with the car on ebay is the photos are so dark they don't show anything...that might be on purpose!

Tony, going by the serial number sequence, it works out to 48,599 of the round arch cars built. As far as I know, all of 1972 production was round arch.
I've got a '72 and a '74, but no '73.
Jeff

Trunk floor's rusty, trunk lid's bent

The right side hood-hinge-mount is bent too.

I like how he wiped away some of the dust to show the paint color of the front fender and hood! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Still, it doesn't look that bad.

My floors would look like his trunk if I took a pic of them, but mine aren't rusty.

What I don't understand is why he did not clean it up before listing. So many do that though, would hate to see their homes.

Yeah, a 30 minute wash and wax would either add a couple hundred to the final bid, or show the areas he wants to hide... More likely the first in this case.

His photos don't show the areas where Midgets readily rust
