My buddy in Erath, LA, is 99% complete with his '54 TR2. Woof!

Is he going to let you drive it for the first time out of the shop, Bill ?

Maybe the second time. He will have it at the BMCNO show in March. Will you be there?

NICE NICE NICE Lets see some more pictures.

WOW !! I love the look! The color and aero screens are awesome.

Bill, isn't this the guy who does all the mods stuff?

Wow!! That is sharp.

When are you jumping back into the fold again, Bill?

Oh yeah. Come early for a test drive with the new engine.

Yup. You saw his TR8 coupe on the magazine cover.
The TR2 is done to original specs. The engine bay is cleaner than my kitchen. Of course, you haven't seen my kitchen. David Hayden, the guy, has made a few upgrades, like converting the rear brake lights to work on both rear outside lamps instead of only the center lamp, for safety's sake, and installing hidden upgrades to the headlight wiring. He scored an original A-type and installed it. The interior is all Roadster Factory. I might could get some better photos, sneaked this yesterday while visiting David. Am I trying to get back into the fold? Kinda, sorta. Asked David if he would sell me one of his many restorations. No, he said. David has so many restorations completed, like his own car show. TR2, TR3 (with GT6 engine), TR4 (concours), TR6, TR8, Europa, Esprit, new-old Mini, old Mini, etc.

What a nice job he's done on the resto. TR-2s are getting very hard to find, especially one in nice condition. Nice color combo, too.

What a car! :yesnod:

Looking at the half opened bonnet one can see the pair of cable operated latches, so that puts its TS number at a pre TS4228. Get us some more photos so we can get a better guess of the TS number. I recognize the form since its cousin, TS981, is loudly snoring not ten feet from where I sit.
