Joe's Stone Crabs - I remember them well. When husband is in the Miami area during the months with an "r", he buys some and has them put in with dry ice and home they come to the Land of Enchantment. I don't share either. Fortunately husband is allergic to sea food.
As to the key lime pie, it really is kind of yellow and my only concession to make them is I use the lower calorie condensed milk. Don't know how they make it but the pie tastes the same.
Lived in Miami for about 7 years and that's where Agatha came from - a junkyard.
