Easiest Way to Remove/Replace Rear Axle Seals/Etc.?

Went to replace the rear brakes/wheel cylinders on the '74 Midget.
Still can't get the "C" clips back on,that hold the cylinders in place
I noticed that tone of the seals on the rear axle was leaking.What's
the "real world" way to do them?
This is sure turning into an "As long as....." project.

Doug the clips for the wheel cylinders are useless (assuming you bought new cylinders) Use the old ones or go to a hardware store and buy some circlips - You might need two to make up the thickness.
 
If you use an old brake drum and a little piece of flat iron you can use the wheel nuts to pull the hub.

It IS a problem! I can get 6 small cars in my garage, but currently have only 4 (...and a half--- sorta... pickup bed for the Morris pickup is off and occupying a space where I could normally have another car.) I have 4 other garage spaces I have to borrow or rent. One lives under a car cover... :(

Out of the goodness of my heart, I am happy to offer my driveway for the pickup. No, no need to thank me, that's just the kind of guy I am. Just leave the Morris and the keys and I will make sure it is safe. :grin: (and now back to brakes)
