I was a senior at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

Here's a photo of my hometown newspaper, showing how we celebrated the first Earth Day in 1970. Some of us headstrong seniors dug a grave - and buried a gasoline engine.

I got my bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in May of 1970 - then bought a five year old Plymouth Fury and started my first job, Edinburg TX. Those were the days!
