Any suggestions? Book says Armstrong 624. I found an old thread from 03 and wondered where peoples thoughts are on this now.

Thanks

I am using motorcycle damper fluid - Motul 20W30 - in my leaver arm shocks. Available from my local motorcycle parts shop.

This is used in the front forks of motorcycles and is formulated to be non-frothing. 20W30 maes for a nice stiff ride.

Here is a link that may be helpful:

Do Not do what a friend of mine did, and use 80-90 hyphoid!!Sweet mother of pearl!!One sheared the bolts ,the other broke its flanges off. the 20 wt fork oil is the hot ticket and my I be so bold as to suggest the one with the seal conditioners in it also.
