Just got back from the machine shop. Yep, found a good one me thinks. Took block in to be boiled, cleaned, checked, and clynders honed. Shop agreed that honeing was all that was required, lucky me. $50

They will also do head including instalation of no led gas valves and guides and seat all for $80.

Will recondition rods, balanc, and flux for $60.

Lots of nice work there. Think I found a good place. Guy has been in business for years.
