Hi,
Does anyone know where to get one?
I believe they are a BSF thread, not a UNF thread.
Or can anyone tell me the size and TPI?
Thanks in advance
Update - Its probably a slotted nut, not a castellated one

BN1 will be a BSF.

There are plenty of Australian suppliers of BSF fasteners - Google "bsf fasteners australia". See for instance: https://www.classicfasteners.com.au/slotted/
Moss has pictures of slotted vs castllated nuts. See: https://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=44740

BSF means British Standard Fine. See these charts and scroll down to the BSF chart: https://mdmetric.com/tech/thddat8.htm
Note that the 7/16" diameter is 18 threads per inch. Just measure the OD of the stub threads with a caliper and order the correct nut.

I might try one of the fellows who has a good stock of used parts. Michael Salter and Autofarm come to mind, both in Canada.

Thanks for the replies, I have come across classicfasteners before, just wanted confirmation on size and tpi, at this stage looks like a 3/4 BSF which puts TPI at 12
