Early BJ7 Vent Window Seal

Hello

I am looking for vent window seals for early BJ7 cars. Years ago suppliers listed two styles, but they currently list only the more common later type.

Is there a current source for the first-style seals?

Thanks
Dan

Good question. Early-build BJ-7's (May 1962), such as mine, have three-piece quarter / vent window seals and opposed to the later one-piece. While the originals are still fitted to the car and are in OK shape, I've been looking for a three-piece replacement seal for years. Also I'm not sufficiently motivated to have the originals molded and cast in modern rubber which I know can be done with good success.

Thank you for enlightening me as to the date of manufacture. They are both titled as 63's but I realize that is when they were sold and titled not manufactured.
I used to see there were two offerings in the catalog but that was before I acquired these cars.
If a better alternative doesn't present itself I guess it would be possible to fabricate seals from similar applications with some careful splicing and superglue.
I think the later rubber would work if the front lower corner was modified.
