My buddy is ready to sell his project. I talked him into the car so I am helping him out. This is a very early TR6 (CC 27220; April 1968) with a boatload of extra parts, everything from a rebuilt heater, wiper motor, gauges, knobs, correct seats (less cushions and covers), soft top, frame, door panels, carpet, and all...the list does not stop. I know because I was second in line to buy this, right behind Bob. I was going to butcher it in order to save my TR250, but have since found what I need. It does have a couple small sour spots, but in the case of the trunk floor and passenger floor pan, he has used replacements ready to weld into place. This is about as complete of a project one can find, and being such an early TR6 (short rear fender beading) is a very special car. Number sequence is very close so it appears to be a matching car. Message me for photos or questions. If interested, I will connect you with Bob. He is offering it at $5,000.

That's a really nice looking car. Your friend should finish it if at all possible. It's a shame i am clear across the country.

Thank you. Yes, that was the plan but the scope of the project became much bigger than he anticipated. I was supposed to be helping him but have been handcuffed with some other issues. He is now to a point where he'd just as soon have something that he can sit in, turn the key, and just enjoy. In the end, I told him I would buy it from him, once we figure out what the new 'normal' will be.

It is. PM me your contact information and I will forward it to Bob so he and you can connect. He is not a member of this forum.

Just now, thank you for the alert. I will forward it to my buddy Bob and I am sure he will reach out to you when he can.

Correct. The tub is attached to the chassis with doors, trunk and bonnet attached, but everything else is loose. Everything is in Everett at his house, except the engine and transmission are here, in my garage.
