E Type Reassembly

Anyone out there with a Series II E Type:

I'm reassembling my '69 ots, and before I reinstall the gas tank, I'm trying to determine what goes in the 2 holes just to the left and forward of the hole for the fuel strainer/drain in the floor of the boot (below the tank).

Mine has two different size holes (both around 1/8"), and I've got brain fade from the car being apart for 2 years.

Thanks

Steve

Steve, I've done some checking since I emailed you. There should only be one hole near the fuel strainer hole, and that one should be at the lowest point in the boot. It is for drainage. I suspect that someone drilled a second hole for some reason (maybe to improve drainage?) Anyway, its just for draining water that might get under the tank.

Cheers,
Basil
