This weekend's Motorweek includes a look at the E-Type. Some markets may repeat the show this evening (ours does) else you should be able to see on this site in a week or two: https://video.pbs.org/program/motor-week/episodes/

No surprise that the reviewer loved it.

The car selected would not have been my choice as it appeared to have been converted to triple Webers, wore fat tyres and possibly had a non-original metallic paint job. Not that there is anything wrong with someone doing what they like with their car -- just that for a retrospective like this I would of thought they would have sought out a more original example.

Oh, and the reviewer (who probably wasn't yet born when the E-Type was in production) seemed to have the bad habit of driving with his right hand resting on the gear shift.

I have a real problem with my right hand resting on the gearshift while driving my Jag. I just cannot even get my right hand over to the shifter to do that anymore.
