E - brake not releasing

Well as luck would have it the sun was shining and I tried to take the BJ7 for a quick spin around the block. Problem is my rear wheels are not free wheeling. My first inclination is that I don't think my E-brake is releasing? I jacked the rear end up and tried to see if the rear wheels would turn freely. Passenger side didn't budge drivers side just barely. HELP!

Well MP, the first thing I would do is back off on the rear wheel brake adjusters and see if I could get the wheels to turn freely. I would also check and be sure that the entire Emergency brake linkage is relaxed right up to the rear wheel brake cylinders, when the brake handle is in the off position.---Keoke

Thanks Keoke
