E-brake...issues....

Everyone,

In the process of swapping the housing for my rear end (due to a broken rebound strap bolt), I noticed the mount point for the E-brake is different. Instead of having a mount point under the left (driver) side of the housing, there's just a "tab" welded on the back side. I'm assuming the housing I got is from a newer 1500 model, but I can't confirm it, or visualize how it works with the new hardware...

Can anyone confirm this for me, and possibly provide some pics of the "later" e-brake setup? It'd be a big help!

Thanks!

Dave, we kind of lost this post. Here is a picture of mine - don't know if there is enough detail to be helpful otherwise I'll see if I can get something clearer
