I stopped for gas between Corvallis and Lebanon and a couple from the Netherlands on a US motorcycle tour came over to look at my TR7V8. Apparently he is the vendor for SU carbs and parts in the Netherlands and back in the day used to race TR7's with the 16 valve engine. They knew a lot about TR7/8's.
The woman was interested because I have the "double bubble" engine cover and she wanted to look in the engine bay. They were quite pleased to see me using HIF6's
