this week I found that there was indeed a Whitworth size nut on a bugeye. The mixture adjusting nut. The only wrench I have that will fit it just right as a big W after the size and it is craftsman as well. No clue where that came from.
 
Don't you just love those magic tools in your box! Who knows where they came from, they've been there for years, and one day just when you need one, THERE IT IS /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif!! Not to say a 5/8 won't work but it is a very sloppy fit. I have something called a 5/8 W that is even closer. And that is not perfect, no telling what it really is cause that's the best I can do.
