Dumb question about electrics

On the fuse panel where the ignition connects to it. Can he just split off of one of them?I tried to copy part of the PDF but couldn't figure how to change the snap shot to a Jpeg.

Since the fuse block has double spades on both sides and an unused slot, I have taken off the extra spade and used the blank space for additional wiring needs.

Well if you want to play around until you are satisfied with the interconnections. Here is a thought. Presumed board has a relay on it to control power into ECU. Then we can connect a brown wire to one of the relay's open terminals and the ECU's input powerline to the other open terminal. Ground one end of the relay coil and connect the other side of the coil via a switch to +12V. Now to start things up set the referent switch to on and fire the engine. Final configuration will be the added switch will be replaced by switched power from the car.---Keoke ?
