T-Series Dumb MG TD badge bar fitment question

I just received a badge bar, supposedly made for a TD, from Moss. I can't line up the badge bar with any bolts on the front of my TD. The quality is also rather poor. Compared to the ones available from https://www.holden.co.uk, this is just a steel tube with ears welded onto the tube.

If anyone has set this same item up and has been pleased with it, please let me know how you tweaked it. How the heck is it done?

If I can't make it pretty, I'll return it and get the luverly https://www.holden.co.uk one.

Thank you, gentlemen, in advance.

Matt

I'd eschew ALL of th' badge bars, Matt.

But that's jus' me.

I have one of the Moss bars. It fit perfectly! The quality is fine with me...

& what I don't like about Holden's bar is that is only has specific places for badges....& if you don't use them you have these empty "tits" sticking up at you.

Thank you for the picture, Tony. That solves my problem. I didn't realize that I should use the bumper mounting bolts.

I shouldn't have been so critical about the Moss badge bar; it's not bad, especially when it's mounted where it should be! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Thanks again,

Matt
