Dumb location for clutch pipe stress relief coil

Could some Bugeye owners with original clutch pipework check for me if you have the same bad choice by the hydraulics guy in the factory...

The coil of pipe to relieve the stress where the clutch pipe transfers from the tub to the engine is located exactly next to the distributor cap in such a way as to make it unbelievably difficult to remove said cap. See attached picture. I do not think he could have placed the coil in a more inopportune location if he had tried.

Perhaps he was just having a bad day and wanted to make his mark.

Actually it belongs about half way between the dizzy cap and the starter switch in that clear spot.

Chris, when the plumbing was installed, there was no engine in the car, so it didn't make any difference.
Buck up, Matey, and deal with it. After all, once you deal with the tach drive, it's no big hoo-hoo to move some tubing, right?
