I installed Linux on my windows 10 laptop in duel boot mode, but it will only boot into windows, no duel boot screen appears for s choice. Nothing critical, I just thought it would be nice not to switch laptops back and forth. PJ

There are several ways to install a dual boot, so I guess it may depend on the method you used for installing dual boot on the Win10 machine.

Could you give us a link to the instructions you followed? That may provide a clue!

Tom, it's Linux Mint 21 and it asks if you want to install it alongside windows, to which I said yes and proceeded. I've done this on older versions of Mint and all went well, so I'm thinking it might be the latest 21 that could be the problem. I can remove the partition and install an earlier version of Mint to check.
