Duane and Muffy reunion

I have started doing some historical research on Muffy, the '60 BT7 that my Dad recently handed down to me. Among the paperwork he gave me was the Bill of Sale when he bought it in 1978 from a fellow named Duane. I googled Duane's full name and came up with an email address for a fellow in the same town where Dad lived at the time. I wrote and asked if he was the same guy, and he was. He was excited to hear that the car had been well cared for, and asked me to call him to talk about her. When I called, I learned that he was on the road headed for a vacation in Panama City Beach, not far from me. I invited him to come by and see her in person. Today, he did, and I let him drive her around the block for old times' sake. He's currently the owner of a TR4A and a Triumph Dolomite Sprint, but as we tooled down the road, he started speculating that perhaps it was time for him to acquire another Big Healey. Here's a pic of Duane and Muffy together again after 32 years.
Duane and Muffy reunion

Nice story, hope you enjoy Muffy. My college 1959 100/6 BN6 also has a long family history. It's currently owned by my brother.

Cheers,
Steve

Looks like both Duane and Muffy are smiling!

Thanks for sharing this. Good stuff!
