Hey there,
I've got an early 100 and currently have twin (switchable)electric fuel pumps. One has failed and I've had no end of fuel pick-up problems. Apparently my tank has collected a bunch of crud and because of the baffles, I wasn't able to clean it. (Boiled it out and had it coated when I restored it 3 years ago.
So, long story short, I purchased and have installed an new aluminum tank (Jorge from San Diego...highly recommended), and am ready to rip out the two electronic pumps and replace with a double-pumper SU...electronic, not points.
Question: should I run both at the same time (SU's don't care about pressure), or should I wire them independent and switch off occasionally?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Jeff
