Well, that may be a slight exaggeration. Actually, I did add a temporary seat so I could move it under its own power for the first time in 18 years. I have the front seat fully reupholstered and with no glass in the car to repel shop dust I don't want to install it yet. I did move it a little to straighten its stance in its designated space. The clutch needs a little adjustment. This is the first time it has been tested under power since I built new brackets and overhauled the hydraulics a couple of years ago so that's not a surprise. I'll take care of that after this next cold spell goes away in a couple of days then maybe even drive it around the block. Ok, here is my temporary seat.

A work of art, good job!

Wow! I'd call that overkill. We always just used a milk crate. :smirk:

As a high school teenager, my (later to be) wife was picked up for a date by a guy who had only lawn chairs in his car. Can't remember the car make.

LOL, I tried a lawn chair but it was too wide. Remember this is a LBC emphasis on the "L". And they don't seem to make milk crates anymore. This shot of it next to shop partner's '50 Ford pickup shows why the lawn chair might not fit. Photo was taken a couple of weeks ago when flushing the cooling system after moving into the new shop.
