Need a route.

Looking at options - Take the quickest/cheapest route,
or see a part of the country that I haven't been to.I'm
tempted to go through Albuquerque & head North to Denver.

Gonna stop by and say hi to the boss ,Doug?

What're ya driving? Leave Denver, take old US 6 just before the tunnel, stay on it until you hit Spanish Fork just south of SLC.
Winding, twisting, good workout for an LBC with the top down.
The way they did it before 70 went in.

He's looking for ideas between Denver and Chattanooga. But FYI on US 6 before the tunnel, its okay if you time it right but if you don't you get to play with hazardous material haulers that are not allowed through the tunnel. Jet fuels, corrosives etc... you know, fun stuff like that.

Will be driving a Ryder truck, towing a trailer with a Red Saturn coupe
on it.I'm thinking that it'll handle likea......
Only going as far West as Denver, then flying home.

:madder: I am always competing with the boss. Would be happy to have you stop by. What are the dates that you anticipate coming through Albuquerque and what route will you travel. Both of us are just off of Interstate 40. Will you be traveling alone or with a companion?

I'll be traveling with our #2 kid,27 years old.
I'm just a couple of years older than he is.

If you decide to come I-40 through Albuquerque..let us know...not far and the CGT needs the carbon blown out...

Jack,

I'd be VERY honored to meet you, but,as it turns out,we can't pick up
the truck until Tuesday,so have 3-1/2 days to get there.
I had a great talk with "judow" - what an incredible woman!I wish that
I could take her up on her offer of staying there.
I still have a lot of fine-tuning to do about this trip.
