That lets me out.

Fantastic! We chuckle around here -- first snow of the year and folks seem to have forgotten how to handle it. Keep in mind I live in the mountains (at 5550') and it snows here, a bunch, every year. Our economy depends on ski tourists. Still, some locals seem to need a reminder every year. Ah well.

That "reminder" usually results in a need to change underwear, too.

They forget, 40+ wrecks in the area last night on first real snow. Only 3 or 4" but it's cold with fresh crisp hard pack. I would love to take the TR out... but I won't.

1/4" in Portland and the place is shutting down (in part due to hills). Panic sets in. :playful:

Yeah...tried to get my supplier in Cedar Rapids on the phone. He was out plowing his railroad. Said it had snowed a bunch.

Wait... What?

Oh, come on... go inside! I know the camera wouldn't fit... but I was looking forward to visiting the Kitty-Litter box at the end (or something).

Was watching a show the other night and you guys up there in BC have a highway called, "The highway from He_L". You have to be a little loose to drive on that in bad weather with all the truck accidents on it. Those tow truck services sure have their hands full up there. Quite interesting show though. PJ

Now that's what I would call paradise. I have always envisioned trains in the yard to play with. I think it dates back to my first visit to Edaville Railroad in Massachusetts. Not sure of the spelling but I am sure Tom knows what I am talking about.
