TR2/3/3A Driving Comparison between TR3 and AH3000

When I bought my '58 TR3A in 1975, the steering was a great improvement over my daily-driver '31 Ford, and good-enough that I still have the TR while the Model A went away almost 20 years ago. So whether early TR steering is good or bad is merely a matter of what it's being compared to.

That said, there are several modifications available to make the stock TR2/TR3 steering apparatus easier and more accurate: Steering box cover, idler arm, swivel pins, and steering arm length can all be played with - though having a set of rock-hard old bias-ply tires works well also.
