Drivers seat setback

I've got my set position all the way back in a 62 BJ-7 but would like to put it back even further. My seat top currently hits the top corner of the side panel where the top folds down above the back seats. Any idea how to fix this? I'm 6'3" and it's a squeeze!

Thanking you in advance!

If it's leg extension, I think you've got all your gonna get.
Some have angled the seat back more, which means you may have to move the seat forward one notch, for the additional angle rake. That angle should help extend your arms a bit and lower your head from the top.

The folks who have angled the seat back, will chime in with the different ways they did it.

Best of luck.

Money Pit:
If this is the case you have used up all the rearward adjustment the seat can tolerate, any further rearward movement of the seat will cause the seat back and the side panel covers to be severely damaged.---Fwiw-Keoke
