Driver seat adjuster spring?

I am missing the spring that attaches to the handle that adjusts the drivers seat in my MKII. Has anyone replaced this and what did you use? looks like a generic spring the right length would work.

I have. Spring came from Auto Zone. I post a photo tomorrow.

Thanks. The prev owner used an eye hook and drilled a hole in the floor to keep the seat in place :eeek:.
