MGB Drive Shaft U-Joint, 1978 MGB

no big deal - usually, for me, getting the driveshaft out from under the car is the bigee!

Tony I replaced the ujoints in a drive shaft on a 79 and one end was froze so hard that I had to put it in my press to break them loose. Before doing so, I milled a small piece of angle iron to fit between the yoke to keep from distorting the shape of it in the press. It worked very well. My 72 ujoints came right out with no problem. Ha, four bolts then take the whole thing to the machine shop and let him worry with it. I just hate U joints.

8 bolts, Jim....4 on either end....then I just press them out
