TR6 Drive shaft orientation

What is the proper orientation for the drive shaft? Does the telescoping end go towards the gearbox or towards the differential. I can't find a detail in any catalogs/manuals and I didn't pay attention when I pulled it a year ago.
 
Thanks Berry, I couldn't see that it made any difference either but wanted to follow how it was oriented from the factory. Towards the gearbox it is!
