Glad you like it, Jack. I'm working up a new design for the school district where I work, and decided to use it for my personal site as well. Fun to do a redesign, even though I'm really more of a programmer than a graphic designer.
I've become a real fan of digital cameras, too. I'm not much of a photographer, but with digital you can use the quantity approach since the film is free. Take enough pictures, and you can get a few really good ones. I had fun picking through my iPhoto library, looking for some good shots for the banner images.
