I don't remember how many RB GT's were made, but I'd love to have one.

Here ya go:

BGT

Just noticed this yesterday.

1,247 rubber bumper GT's were delivered to North America,

Mickey - what color is the GT?

Great! Looks like "Tundra", which is what mine was originally. Sort of like Army green but not quite as attractive.

Colin

She is listed on the St. Louis MG car club. Nice lady.

74 MGBGT, Butterscotch, daily driver with new new tires

We passed because we are looking at one they put a new engine into a few years back.

It is a rubber bumper 74 /1/2

Are you sure they are "Sabrina's"? I am familiar with "Dagmar's" being named after the amply endowed British Actress of the 50's, even saw a movie with her in it once. I think wikipedia even pulls reference up on dagmar and bumper endowments.

I've never heard of "sabrina's" as part of a car, until now?

Yep, "Sabrina's" is what they've always been called....Sabrina was the busty British actress & Dagmar was the busty American actress of the time.

Let me know if you need someone to look at it. I am originally from that area, and my parents are still down there. My dad has a friend with a few MG's, so maybe he can get his friend over there to take a peek. He has good knowledge of the car.

Thank you for the offer. We located one in St Louis we bought yesterday and it is soooo much fun drive. It's nice looking, (we think so anyway) seems to runs well and looks good, will need some touchup and cleanup, but not near as expensive as the one in Florida, so we are happy.

I appreciate the help and feedback we received. I had an MGC-GT in the 70's and always love the little MG. Called my husband 2 weeks ago, asked him what he thought about buying one that still needed some putting together..he said great! and now 2 weeks later, we own 2. One in the driveway and 1 to drive. We are not very MG savy, only know we really like them, and that MG enthusiasts are pretty nice people.

It's ALL good, kiddo. We only live to enjoy it.

Way to go!! Did you drive it home from St Lou?

You'll have to join our local car club now!

Do we get a pic.?

We trailered it to our daughters in SC and got the oil changed, lubed and several hoses fixed, and it drove real well. Met the owner of the "BEEHIVE", real nice guy. Tony, he remembered you. We drove from Hartsell and dropped our grandson off in Decatur, then drove it to Athens, got a tag, (74MGB), couldn't believe that was still available, and drove it home. My husband is having a great time with it. I will post a pic and we would really enjoy joining the car club.

Well, I'm looking forward to it popping up in my driveway one Saturday afternoon!!
