I had a dream the other night that my gas cap on the "B" wouldn't pass inspection. The inspector said that it sealed to tight and a vacuum would collapse the fuel tank. Were having a big discussion about this cap! I told the inspector that it is a very special cap and very difficult to replace. (I have no idea where that came from). I finally convinced him to leave it alone and we passed inspection. Funny thing about it all is, we don't have automobile inspection in South Carolina.

Dreams are crazy.

Hmmm, my wife is into "dream analysis", I shall have to have her interpret that one! (repressed fears of "The Man"??) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I get people who should not be in the same place at the same time mixed up in my dreams. If that dream about the gas cap was mine, the inspector would be someone like my old high school teacher, and I would be in a garage that looked earily familiar like a deja vue expieriece and I forgot to wear pants that day.
I often wake up and wonder what the.......

How do they know if you are driving a safe car or not?

The cap represents some self-imposed restriction, something like a voluntary inhibition against posting volatile comments onna BCF... the inspector is the uninhibited li'l /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif trying to get Paul to succumb to temptation. Impasse is a result of Paul's obvious grand capacity for self-control.

...but I could be mistaken. My last dream was that I was being pursued by a great-giant BAGEL while pedaling a bicycle, doin' 90 MPH down th' Interstate dodgin' slower traffic... Then I ~was~ the bagel!

No inspection in Florida either and we like it that way.

In my opinion it is none of their busines what we run when or how.

850 HP on the street, sure why not, just kinda obey the speed limits and stop signs and such.

They still have the option of pulling you over down here to check the safety of your vehicle if it looks unroadworthy!!

It's amazing how many things they bang us for here in NY and we just go along with it because we always have. Spend, spend, spend, no matter how much I make I still can't catch up.

Hmmm, repressed dispostion to lusting indulgence food stuffs bad for you while
guilt pursues you for eating same.

Let's see, the pedaling at 90 mph is
obviously related directly to the work you're doing on your cars in order to speed... (just a bit naughty) and then....bango, you're the bagel?

Definitely an indication that, ultimately, you always do the right thing.

Naww, nothing to worry about. Take two aspirin, go back to sleep and call me in the morning.

PS: I gotta get my car fixed. Maybe I'll spend less
time on the net.
