Since I can't keep flash for longer than about an hour before it crashes.
Is there any other program to use in lieu of?

Don - a suggestion. Just delete flash completely. See if you really need it. Many websites are dropping flash and moving to html5 instead.

Edit: here's a link to flash players and alternatives:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Flash#Players

But first just delete the flash you've got, and see if/what/how you're limited.

Don, I agree with Tom, Run a compatibility program first, if nothing is corrected, just delete the program. Seems like Flash Player is falling to the way side and not keeping up with modern technology. Make sure none of it's bits and pieces are left in the computer. Maybe a fix is in the works, but I haven't seen one. PJ

Tried Shumway from Mozilla.
Didn't light up Nial's Justin Bell story

Try this... open this page https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-playe...type_and_capabilities__Flash_developers_only_ and right-click the "version" number in section 2. Click on "settings". Click on the left icon (hardware acceleration) and remove the check mark in the box if it's there or put it there if it's not. Changing hardware acceleration is sometimes successful at stopping crashes.

If no joy, you might uninstall your current version of Flash and select and install an earlier version correct for your OS from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

Never had that problem before,
Accelerating to fast...

Guess I need to load it to do that
