I wonder if I phased the first question correctly. Let me try again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
The convertable top's drainage channel on the bj8 gets screwed to the rear shroud. Question, place the channel directly against the front of the lip on the shroud, or position it behind the lip shroud?
Did I say this any clearer? Wish I had a photo to show.
Reason I'm asking again, is it seems the screw holes don't seem to line up when placed behind the shroud lip. But seem much closer when placed directly against the front of the lip.
The body shop has tweeked the shroud so much, trying to get the quarter panels to line up with the shroud, that the drainage channel does not fit now.
If indeed the channel goes behind the lip, then new holes will have to me made.
Steve, no paint, no fenders. My car is far from being painted. Thanks for replying to my question.
