Drain Plug Set, Paint ??????

Rumaging through my parts boxes looking for a M/C, reservoir pipe I know I have some where and came across a bag of 8 plastic plugs. I bought these from TRF quite awhile ago, for my 60 TR3A. Their catalog # RFK1191. I have no clue as to what I bought them for or what I do with them. They are a milky /clear color and look like they would fit in a 5/8" hole.

What do I do with them? Help, Help!

Thanks, Tinkerman

Tink - check the bottom of the rear valance, as well as the bottom of your outer sills - I bet you'll either see some holes that will need filling, or cousins of the the plugs you have in that package! Not positive, but there may be a couple at the rear of the floorboards as well

Another place to check is the bottom edge of the rear apron. I believe they were drain holes for paint to run out, after the body was dipped.

Yes Don, I checked but got no info other than that I could buy them for $4.49.
Randy and Randall I did find holes in the appropriate places. I found 4 and am sure I will be able to find four more without too much trouble. Didn't realized they dipped the bodies. I knew that most if not all of the sub-assemblies were dipped but not the bodies. Learn something new allatime!

Thanks, Tinkerman
