While there is indeed satisfaction in the accomplishment,
And shelves just do something to my wife that is inexplicable, it's a win-win!!
If we just lived closer......

Your wife could go out with my girlfriend and have White Chocolate Mousse w/Raspberries-Mousse aux Chocolat Blanc et aux Framboises......

And we could rebuild your tranny.....& have Guinness /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Somehow that doesn't sound like Shack City to me, I was more expecting fried possum toes with bear grease dipping sauce. I can do the Guinness. It's great with Foie Gras!
If it ever stops snowing up here I'll get it back on the road and then I'll know to what extent I've got to work. There's enough help and parts available that I could get brave, you never know.

I live 1/2 way between pos-um toes and confusing wine lists.

I have one friend who has an out-house in his back yard.
And another who has a Sikorsky in his.

My neighbor offered me road kill sausage sticks.
(Like home made Slim-Jims)

Last Friday I saw the opera (Magic Flute) & the next day checked out a friends banjo band.

So call it: "The Crossroads of Culture"!!!

Been in many a rotor-wing aircraft (loosely defined at best) and many times VERY inclined to pee IN MY FLIGHTSUIT. Sometimes induced by external causes, sometimes by the infernal machine itself. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

I HATE those things. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif

Funny how a close call in a helicopter makes more of an impression on a person than a close call in any other vehicle.

For the record.....WTN does NOT fly in whirly-birds

(for exactly that reason)

TWO autorotation experiences were MORE than enuff for this l'il duck.

Way back, I noticed the conspicuous absence of higher ranking NCOs.....(Before incident)

At the time I didn't pay much mind.

(Turns out later that they had made other travel arrangements)

Hummmmm /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
