I consider myself fairly good with wrenching, I also have learned that if it is too hard I'm doing it wrong. Installing the door glass weather seals has kicked my butt. I can't figure how to put the clips on. Do I put the clip on the door first? On the rubber/metal first? Or jointly? All I end up with is scratched paint and severe frustration.

That is why I wrote "make a little J-hook tool".

Yes, J hook out of about 3/32 or 1/8 X 3/4 approximatly to hold the clips and pull them into position. I know its a real PITA.

Kurt.

It's also extremely helpful, in the absence of a MOWOG, that you hang yourself by your fingertips for a few hours a day to build up both strength and length.

Well- I've made a reasonable facsimile of the tool, strengthened my fingers, and put a couple of bottles of MGD in he fridge. Hoping for the best.
