Door window drip seals

Just looking at my to do list, it is getting very short.
I have brand new outer rubber drip rails for the doors and new felt inner door rails.
The car has never had the rails for the last 34 years

Looking at the outer rail seals there are small holes, when I look at my door there is no holes, maybe they were welded shut. Just wondering what was used to hold the outer seal in place.

Now the inner felt seal, is confusing looks like it may spread apart and slide onto the bottom of the inside door ledge.

Also do I need to take th window out to fit the rails

Any idea's
thanks Phil

Yes, you need to take the windows out.

The felts are held in place by clips - I can give you a hand if you want (and I think I still have to tool I made

If I remember correctly the rubbers are friction fit.

Hi JP,

thanks for the offer, might just do that, going to work early wed just thought I could do one window, guess not.

The outer rubber must be different on your car, I think my car must have used pop rivets or screws
