Door Vent Glass

Can the vent glass be installed on a BJ7/8 while on the car? Thanks!

Yes of course it can, just be paient with it.---Keoke

money pit, if your going to replace just the glass portion yes as keoke says just be "paient" with it, if your intending to install the glass while its in the frame no. so my question would be what exactly are you doing ? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/savewave.gif

Well Anthony I was stupid enough to try and straighten a bent vent mirror while attached to the glass while on the car. My life was all of a sudden shattered into small pieces............ of glass that is! I picked and pulled at all the remaining glass to get it out and now I'm just left with the former packing in the vent frame minus the glass. Hence the need to install new vent glass!

You just wanted to see how stupid I was didn't u?

Remember the best way to learn is by others past mistakes.

I'll give you the honor of making the next big post with "what's the dumbist thing you've done while working on your Healey!" Now don't be bashful Anthony and tell us one of your better moments!
