Door Thresholds

My son gave me a set of those stainless steel door thresholds (that say "Sprite" on them) for the Frogeye. These are the ones that Moss sells (https://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=29702). Any recommendations for installation? Screw? Glue? Anything special to know? They only came in a plastic bag... and nothing else.

velcro?
So you could easily lift them off to show people they are not hiding any rust?

You may be onto something. Superfast engine rebuilt... zippppp, and out it comes. Or Velcro door latches.

Hmmm...
A very nice fellow from Moss called me today (as a follow-up to a message I'd left on their tech-support line). He asked me for the part number (odd, but OK). He then asked if they came with screws and holes, or maybe adhesive. Hmmm. "No." He asked if they came with a directions sheet. Hmmm. "No." Why am I being asked? The thresholds came sealed in plastic with none of this. He then read some directions that sounded pretty good... for a later Sprite. So, finally, he said he'd have to call me back. Somehow I see returning these are in my future.

Double backed tape!

Might be better than adhesive (if it's good tape). I'm not keen on drilling holes (though the Moss guy did that for his Mini).

So, does ANYONE out there have them?

Hey, that's right... there are some great foam-like and really effective tapes. Thanks!
Gonna still see if Moss was supposed to send something like that.

I put these on with RTV. Thin line down the middle. Can be removed with a fine wire cutting the RTV.

Servo tape for r/c cars is super strong and very thin. I use that for all sorts of stuff

Thanks. And hadn't thought of a bead of RTV. Will check out "servo tape" too.

So, the very nice fellow at Moss called me back today. After polling people at Moss HQ, the consensus was to use double-sided tape (as I'd already learned here). This to avoid drilling holes for screws. Funny that this wasn't widely known (even though they sell the parts).
