Door repair parts

I disassembled one of the doors of this BJ 8 and the door skin is pretty good but the bottom frame part is rust dust. I see that Moss sells a bottom frame repair piece and I'm putting together an order to take advantage of the winter discounts. Has anyone found this part useful or is there a better solution? Its been a long time since I lifted one of these doors and I was supprised at how heavy it was almost as heavy as the doors on my power wagon. Maybe the doors off a 100-6 will fit, just kidding, maybe.
Thanks, Angus

G’day Angus,
go the whole hog! 100 doors are lighter still! You might have a little trouble with the gaps though.
Next question.......

... Has anyone found this part useful or is there a better solution?...

I think the only alternative is to fab your own panels (assuming you have the requisite skills and tools). Which do you have more of: time or money?

If the Moss panels are from Kilmartin they should be good quality.
