I will apologize in advance. I asked this question earlier, wrote down the info (and lost it) but can't seem to find it in the archives. I am making my own door panlels. What type of material should I use that will withstand moisture, will be the same thickness as the original panels and be reasonabley easy to shape/cut? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If the material is somewhat porous/ water absorbent, brush on a coat or two of waterproof finish like a clear urethane, etc. before putting on the vinyl.
