TR6 Door Panel Install

I can't seem to get the new door panel clips to snap into the holes. The panels are Moss and so are the clips. The clips aren't long enough. The problem seems to be the piping that is stapled around the outside of the panel. I can't press hard enough to collapse the panel and piping for the clip to click into place. Before I tear off the piping in frustration, has anyone found a longer clip that will compensate for the thickness that I am trying to overcome? I thought one of the plastic plugs would work but it appears that only the rotational clips will get anywhere close to the holes. Maybe a bigger hammer??

Maybe a call to Moss would be in order.
If that fails there is a company in the UK called Woolies Trim that might have longer clips.

Have you tried a rubber hammer, just make sure the clip is lined up before. The hammer must hit flat and if you have to buy one, get the 3 inch diameter.

That's the first rule. If it don't fit, get a bigger hammer.:encouragement:
