Door Glass Seals

I remember a while back several fellows were discussing installing the door waist seals and what a fiddly job it is. I can't locate this using the site's search. Does anybody rememember this? I think they made a tiny shepherds hook to set the clips. Do I put the seals in before or after the glass? Thanks in advance.

I did it before the glass but that is just me (it wasn't fun that way either!)

I did it before the glass as well and yes, I made a small shepherds hook.

Well- I'm ordering materials tomorrow- guess that will give me time to put a couple bottles in the fridge to chill. Have found them helpful to get thru these type of issues.

Glass inside the door but not in the track's yet. Home made j hook out of aprox 3/4 by 3/32 and yes very aggravating.

Kurt.

Good idea Kurt! That would have made the glass install a LOT easier!

Glass was still in the way, Bill, but I was afraid of damaging the seal by fitting it later. I would love to know how they did this at the factory. I'll bet it was a profit killer!
