Same price; iphone 4s or Galaxy SIII?

Which one do I want and why?

Well, tomorrow the Galaxy S4 will be revealed so the S3 will probably drop in price. I've had the S3 for a while and have no complaints. My original Galaxy was rolled over by a large truck and I was able to fix it at home. About 3500lbs and only the screen broke.

Android vs iPhone is largely a matter of preference -- they're both capable tools. For me the iPhone made more sense as it integrates very nicely with my music collection in iTunes, and I use the music player feature all the time.

Nothing to add to the question, but, without hijacking the conversation - how hard was this? My son broke the screen on his S2

Not particularly difficult. I watched a tear down video on Youtube, then bought the replacement screen online. There was a gasket of sorts between the screen and the chassis of the phone which had to be destroyed to remove the screen. I used thin tape as a substitute. Going slow (never having done this), it took me less than an hour. The screen was a little over $100. At the time, I was still under a 2 year contract, so that was cheaper than getting a new phone.

You'll get a lot of opinions about this. As was said earlier, it's really a matter of preference. If you use an Apple computer, or have an iPad, then you'll probably like the the iPhone better. It will feel more familiar and will integrate with your other devices better. On the other hand, if you use a PC, or have an android tablet, you'll probably like the Galaxy better for exactly the same reasons.

My phone's 2 years ended 3 months ago. Can't decide to go to the newest Android or wait

I agree with Keith. I went from a Crackberry to an I-5. I did this so that I could sync with my IPad and IPod. I now find my IPod to be almost obsolete. The only time I use it is when driving Agatha and use it only for the music. Not sure why I do as the I-5 would be just as good. Anyway the choice is very subjective as they are both great phones. I also didn't realize how easy it was to transition from Crackberry to IPhone. All of this as the result of learning the IPad. Whatever your choice this modern technology still boggles my mind. Let us know what you decide.
