I was watching TV the other evening and some hair color advertisement came on, I think it might have been for a product called Pantene (sp?). During a very brief shot of a woman sitting in the left seat of a bright yellow roadster, looking over her left shoulder from the rear you can just make out the chrome wing beading and the unmistakeable shape of the wing flash piece. Almost made me want to buy some of the junk they're selling. I wonder, do you get residuals for owning the car they use in the commercial? Now what was it that I was actually watching...

I saw the commercial and it looks like an early Big Healey. I used the DVR and ran it in slow motion. There is a quick flash of the passenger side then, looking over the drivers shoulder you can see the steering wheel of a Healey and then the LH fender with the beading. Too bad it was such a quick look at a Big Healey.

roscoe, i asked here a month ago if anyone else had seen this advert. no one replied, its good to know i wasnt "trippin" /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Yes, you''re correct it was a Healey. Both my wife and I saw it on the Pantene commercial. It was a yellow Healey. Some time ago I seen an advert requesting any interesting Sports car's available for use on commercials. Don't know where or when I seen the ad though. I believe the going rate was about $1500 per shoot. You had to allow the photographer to spray some stuff on your car to dull it, also you had to allow all those gorgeous models to crawl all over your car.
