Now's the time to build the windblocker Kim. That tonneau cover bracket can be converted into a bar for the windblocker. Tonneau will fit fine supported by headrest's or tops of seats. Got pics if you want.

Allows me to keep ballcap on my head at 70+ mph
Sure , pictures are nice. I don't have any tonneau brackets though.

Speaking of pictures...
Have you put any up here now that it's 'done'?

BTW I learned the hard way not to park under street lights.
Around here some (apparently) big birds sit up there.
Be careful - that stuff is hard to clean off.

I need to take some, maybe this evening, along with a You tube video if I can get the wife to help me. Hey there is a local car club meeting tonight at 6 pm and I was gonna try to make that too now that I actually have a working ride.

Yeah - make the car club - pictures can wait!

How about pictures at the car club...two birds...one stone!!!

Oh yes - that would be GREAT!!

ooh, tough crowd eh?

I love my club - the MGCCNWC - of course there are a lot of REALLY nice cars, but some drivers (like mine) as well.

I hope they made you feel welcome at least?

I made it to my first club meet, very nervous. My midget was certainly the "white trash" of the bunch. really nice cars there.

and what you may have witnessed is nothing more than someone's ability to cut a cheque

Oh, yeah they were nice enough. Most were well off retired people from up North. I never been in a club before, there was all kinds of talk about charities and wine tastings and rallies and things. I wonder how much any of them actually work on their cars? I will try it again at the next meeting and make a decision after that.

Re your need for a wind blocker.
I made one from a sheet of 4x4 x1/4 inch acrylic from Home depot $50. Cut it with a dremel and round saw bit. Heated theedges with plumbers propane torch. It fits with roof up so I do not need to remove it.

It is held in place be two holes (1 behind each headrest post) and a bungee cord hooked to the headrest post. I will post pics later today.
